Cornales

The Cornales are an order of flowering plants comprised of six families, with the largest being the Cornaceae or dogwood family. The genus Cornus includes many species cultivated for their ornamental qualities. Cornus florida is one of the most appreciated ones. Hydrangeaceae, or the hydrangea family, contains many attractive Hortensia species, often planted in gardens for their showy and colorful flower clusters.
