A rare and stunning, sparsely clustering dwarf Aloe native to limestone cliffs in southern Madagascar with triangular leavses that are densely covered with elongate white markings. The small, unbranched inflorscence holds a few red flowers. Despite its rarity, Aloe descoingsii is easy to grow in tropical and warm temperate climates as well as indoors.
