Glossy Forest Grape, Rope-Wood Grape
A vigorous climber from savannas and forest margins in southern Africa. It has shiny, trifoliate leaves, dark green above and pale below and small, yellowish-green flowers, which appear in the leaf axils, followed by fleshy, red to purple, edible fruits. In the juvenile state, all parts of the plant are covered in rust-colored hairs. Rhoicissus rhomboidea should adapt well in tropical and warm temperate climates.
