Ravenea sp. (New)
Recently collected for the first time, this apparently undescribed and very attractive Ravenea has a straight, tall,
fairly slender trunk that carries a rather open crown of beautiful, feathery leaves. It shares some characteristics
with particular forms of Ravenea robustior but grows at much higher altitude, around 2000 m (6500 ft.), and should,
accordingly, do well in many warm temperate/subtropical climates where it will take cool conditions and an occasional
light to moderate frost.
