Pinus pseudostrobus var. apulcensis
Apulco Pine

Often listed under the name of a synonym, P. oaxacana, this majestic, large pine with very long, drooping needles is native to the highlands from central Mexico to Guatemala and El Salvador. It is an outstanding ornamental, best adapted to warm temperate climates and can take severe freezes and some drought.
