Musa borneensis var. flavida
A moderately large, robust species from the tropical lowlands of Brunei and northern Sarawak on the island of Borneo, with densely clustering, slender pseudostems to 6 m (20 ft.) tall. These hold a crown of narrow, ascending leaves to 5 m (16 ft.) long. The stout, arching inflorescence has yellow or salmon-colored bracts that fall soon after opening. Even though easy in cultivation, this banana is rather rare in cultivation.
