Corymbia citriodora (= Eucalyptus c.)
Lemon-scented Gum, Spotted Gum
A very tall tree with smooth, white to pink or coppery, shedding, mottled bark, small, lanceolate, glossy green leaves that are heavily lemon-scented and clusters of white flowers. Corymbia citriodora is native to dry sclerophyll forest and woodlands from eastern Queensland to northeastern New South Wales. It is widely cultivated elsewhere in warm temperate and tropical climates as a timber tree and as a popular ornamental.
