Maluku Kentia Palm
A mid-sized palm native to rainforests the Moluccas in Indonesia. Not unlike the Kentia palm (Howea), it sports a slender, solitary trunk and a crown of spreading leaves with wide, somewhat drooping leaflets. The unusual inflorescences are long and unbranched and carry grape-sized, bright red fruit. It does best under a tall canopy in the tropical garden but might also have some potential as an indoor plant.
