Bactris glandulosa
Gold Palm

Another rare and very handsome Bactris from Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. This one is moderately sized, only sparsely spiny and has plumose leaves, densely covered with fine, golden pubescence. Need we say more?

Only two germinated my first time around. Difficult to germinate.
