Common Aotus, Eggs and Bacon
An upright, spreading shrub rarely over 1.5 m tall with small, needle-like, dark green leaves and masses of yellow flowers with a red center in winter and spring. It is widespread in Tasmania and southeastern Australia where it is found in heathlands and dry forests. In cultivation it makes a robust, low maintenance ornamental for warm temperate climates.
