Large Spotted Aloe
A mid-sized, clustering, usually stemless Aloe native to scrubland in Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa between 600 and 900 m. Its broad leaves are densely covered with longitudinally elongated, H-shaped, whitish spots and sport attractive, reddish brown marginal teeth. The well branched inflorescence is tall and upright and holds pale red flowers. In cultivation it is best suited to warm temperate climates in USDA Zones 10 and above.
