Aloe fievetii var. fievetii
A smallish, usually stemless, sparsely suckering Aloe with short, reddish leaves and a compact, sparsely branching inflorescence with orange flowers that are fading to yellow. Aloe fievetii is native to granite outcrops in eastern central Madagascar around 1200 m. In cultivation it is best suited to warm temperate and some tropical climates in USDA Zones 9 and above.
