Agave schottii var. schottii Schott's Century Plant, Amolillo A small, spikey Agave that forms dense clusters of small rosettes with hard, narrow, yellowish green leaves. It is native to the U.S. in Arizona and New Mexico, as well as Sonora in Mexico and inhabits rocky places with low rainfall at 900 to 2000 m (3000 to 6500 ft.) altitude. It is hardy to drought and moderate or severe freezes. |
