Adonidia merrillii (Golden)
Golden Christmas Palm

Already highly popular and much sought after in Asia, this beautiful form of the popular Christmas palm has a crownshaft and leaves tinged with a fantastic yellowish-golden color. A great ornamental for the tropics. Seeds are rarely available.

Easy to germinate once proper procedure is followed. Also fast growing.

...very easy to germinate and need up to 3 months to sprout.
I soaked the seeds in tap water for four days, after soaking I put the seeds in 100% Icelandic sphagnum moss (covered). The pots were located in a place were the temperature was 77°F(25°C). I received 100% germination rate 16 out of 16 seeds.
