Phytosanitary Certificate (Phyto)
Just wondering what happens with the phyto?
Do I need to have an import permit or phyto for small packets shipped to the United States?
Just wondering what happens with the phyto?
The phyto (phytosanitary certificate) is attached to the outside of the box. Customs or agriculture officials will keep it for their records if they inspect the shipment. Once the seeds have entered your country, the phyto has served its purpose and is no longer required.
Do I need to have an import permit or phyto for small packets shipped to the United States?
For small packets you will not need an import permit or a phytosanitary certificate. We will take care of that and your seeds will be shipped via our distributor in the United States.
